“Zugspitzarena” is a true “Eldorado” for cross-country skier

Cross-country skiing in such a scenic mountain landscape is a very special experience. The skier always enjoys the view of the majestic “Zugspitze” massif. The Tyrolean “Zugspitzarena” is considered a true insider tip among cross-country skiers. The extensive network of cross-country skiing tracks is only 300 metres away from Chalet Tannenhof.

The cross-country skiing trails run through the entire area around Mount “Zugspitze”. Starting at Lermoos, you can head either for Ehrwald and Biberwier across what is called “Moos” or in the opposite direction for Heiterwang.  “Zugspitzarena” provides well-groomed cross-country skiing trails, all of which include a classic-style and skating track. Best snow conditions are guaranteed on “Golfrundloipe” trail, covered with artificial snow, and on the trails running at a higher elevation.

• If you do not have your own equipment, you can rent it at the ski rental Hofherr in Lermoos!
• With the Lermoos ski school, you can practice cross-country skiing or improve your technique and skills.
